WOW

Wow, well, sorry, I can't believe it's been since January since I last posted. But, what can I say. Things have been a little crazy.
Kellee played on the JV2 Warriors soccer team. They did good this season. I was very proud of her.
Shawn is still loving Theatre Arts. He has decided to go to Dubiski High School next year. Dubsiki is the new H.S. in Grand Prairie. It is a Carrer/Technical high school. We will be going for medical. He has always been interested in the medical field and we are sure that he will love going to a school with a medical focus. He will get all of his normal high school credits as well as being able to test for EMT or Nurse Assistant when he gets out of high school. He looks forward to continuing his medical learning in college. He is very excited about next year. Kellee is not so excited that her brother has decided to go to a different school. It will be their first time going to seperate schools, and she not too keen on the idea so far. Hopefully she will like it. She decided to stay at SGP so that she can play sports.
Shawn Sr. took his big test on April 7th. He is now an official Sommelier. He is so glad that the test is over and now he can focus on working. It is nice not to have to carry around the stress of the test with him every day. He loves working at the Wine Bar. He has truly enjoyed learning so much about wine and pairings. I have no doubt he will continue his education and take the Level 2 Sommelier test next year.
Me, well, I still have a job after the "transition" which we are all thankful for. Now I am working like crazy to keep up. We lost 30% of our workforce in our facility and it has not been easy since. But, I just keep pushing through it and hope for the best future possible. I still enjoy watching Kellee play soccer. The regular outdoor season is in full swing and I enjoy the social time. I have met some truly wonderful people on the Odyssey team. And I have been able to enjoy several days of quality time with Shawn Jr. lately and he is growing into a wonderful young man.
We have gone through a hard time the last couple of weeks with one of our family member being in the hospital. We are hoping for a positive outcome from his stay and hoping to have him around for a very very long time to come.
Well, I better get going.
